Meditation Meeting Moved

Practitioner’s meditation meeting was closed at the previous location due to lack of participation. A Wednesday morning group now meets at Against the Stream (3123 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216) 7am – 8am. This is also a silent sitting meditation and you can feel free to drop in at any point during the hour or leave at any point.

Mediation Meeting Update

Awaiting final approval from the board at First Universalist Unitarian Church but we’re pretty much set for Thursdays 6pm to 6:45pm for silent sit followed by 7pm to 8:30pm silent sit and group discussion. Here’s info about the room.

Call for Information: Podcast/Podcasts

I want to add some audio (or possibly even video) content to the site and I’m curious what would be beneficial to you guys. I’m sure it wouldn’t go wrong to have a few guided meditations on the site but which ones do you need? I’ll put up a basic mindfulness of breathing one and certainly a couple of flavors of metta practice. What else do you want?

I’d like to get some interviews with Dharma teachers in but that’ll probably take some time and site growth before that’s a real possibility.

What else would you be interested in hearing/seeing on the site?

Let me know in the comments.

Practitioner’s Meditation Meeting Beginning Soon

After quite a bit of hemming and hawing, a site has been located. Determining specific day/time and which room on the campus will happen next week with further details to follow. I can say, however, that we’ll be meeting at First Unitarian Universalist Church of Nashville (1808 Woodmont Blvd, Nashville, TN 37215  https://www.thefuun.org/).

This is a meeting for practitioners only. If you’re new to meditation and don’t have a specific practice, this probably isn’t the meeting for you. There’ll be no instruction given. There is a plan to put up some information to help guide you to a place in which you can participate, but we’re not there yet!
